The Pennypack Ecological Restorative Trust (PERT) Visitor Center is located within one of the original barns on the 809 acre natural property. The renovations to this historic structure provide a fresh and inviting new facility for educational programs for children’s groups and adult organizations. Upgrades included handicap accessibility to and within the building. The educational display area provides great views of the property where patrons can directly relate to what they are learning about. New audio visual technology improvements increase the capabilities of educational programs. Increase sustainability was achieved through energy-saving windows and a new mechanical systems. P+A is currently working on a new greenhouse, shade house, screen house and a pond overlook for PERT.
